Professional Quilting Services Backed By Family

At Four Sisters Quilting in Austin, Texas, we love offering professional quilting services that bring families together. Our products make beautiful gifts and are backed by a story of love, closeness, and unity. We hope that you will love our quilts as much as we love creating them.

Lynette Morgan Dundee

Eldest of the Morgan sisters and co-founder of our business, Lynette Morgan Dundee began sewing while working on her Girl Scout badge when she was around seven years old. Inspired by her grandmother and mother, she began making her own clothes in junior high school. At age 19, she pieced together her first quilt. Her family helped her in hand quilting it on a frame built by her dad. It was during this process that Lynette first discovered her love of quilting.

A native Austinite, Lynette received her degree in interior design from the University of Texas. For more than 30 years, she worked as a designer, specializing in workroom products that ranged from window and bed dressings to couture fashion, hats, and purses. Today, Lynette uses her design experience to make our quilting products truly one-of-a-kind. She has always been interested in mid-century modern architecture and design; this interest turns into inspiration for all work Lynette performs.

Terese Morgan

Third eldest of the Morgan sisters and co-founder of our business, Terese Morgan has been sewing since she was 12 years old and quilting since she was 17. Born and raised in Austin, Terese attended the University of Texas, where she obtained her BA in History and her Master's Degree in library and information science. Terese has worked as a librarian for almost 30 years, quilting all the while.

Being a historian and a librarian, Terese has always preferred traditional quilting patterns and fabrics. She has taught basic quilting classes and also has given presentations on the history of quilts and quilting in both the US and Britain. In 2009, Terese joined with her sister Lynette to begin our machine-quilting business. Terese loves using her passion for the history of quilting to build our designs and create beautiful, one-of-a-kind pieces for our customers.
